OMG.... I need feedback from someone who has actually tried this....

Is it possible to put the schrader valve back into your fuel rail after already taking it out??? The little shit WILL NOT go back in. I dont understand. Im assuming its rigged up so once you take it out, the little lip by the rivits/spiral on the valve wont go back in. Has to be that way. I cant get the fucker back in. Do I have to buy another freakin fuel rail?? AH!

Normally you should be able to put it back in. What I've been hearing is that when you take the shrader valve off and put on a flare fitting (for FP gauge or 8-inj setup or fuel return) you clamp down/pinch part of it that makes the original opening a tiny bit smaller causing it to be very difficult to put the schrader valve back in.

Hummm....... because I have a valve from the fuel rail, and some others I bought and they wouldnt fit. I dont see why they wont fit though, because the hole it goes into shouldnt be affected from when I had the fuel fitting/line on there. The only thing that did was screw on. Im not sure what you mean by pinching it making it smaller, if it just screwed on.

I didn't have any problems. Screwed right in. It wasnt even the original valve I took out of the fuel rail, some random tire repair kit I bought at autozone. emoji

No the valve does not matter, all that matters is that it doesn't spit fuel everywhere when the car is running. A cap will do just fine, but remember never to take it off with the car running.
