I have a few q's for those of you using the modern performance 60mm throttle body. I did use the search function and was able to find the answers for some of my questions. Now I know the performance gains and response is def. there but what I was wondering was if the big throttle body affected your low-end power in a negative way. I know on snowmobiles and atv's etc a bigger carb will give you a better top end but your low end will suffer some. Does this throttle body work on the same concept??? Also I was wondering if your gas mileage stayed the same under normal driving conditions?? A mod like this usually increases your effeciency except for high performance driving but I was just curious as to what changes you guys of had as far as mpg's go. Thanks in advance for your help. This is most likely my next mod along with an af/x or unorthorodox underdrive crank pulley. Thanks again

Your mpg depends on how much you mash the peddle. The throttle response is much lighter than stock so the rpms will climb faster. I'm not sure about low end torque.

Just dont mash the pedal to often and your fine...I do and I still get like...320 mpg..if not I could probably get...20 miles more if Im nice and "grannylike".

no loss in low end, at least not a noticeable one. The biggest diff in my opinion is that you have to be carefull. since its a bigger TB the same pedal travel will give you a more "aggressive" start.
