I got a good deal on a Pacesetter header from a friend of mine who wrecked his car. After we put it on, I'm driving around for a while, and all of a sudden I hear this fucked up noise when I shift into drive leaving NAPA. I go back to Neutral..it quits, back to drive same damn noise. I switch back and forth one more time, it quit. I get a couple miles down the road and it starts again, this time a lot worse.

Anyway, I call my buddy and he says he already knows what it is. The damn AC/Secondary fan is hitting my oxygen sensor!? WTF? How can I fix this? He said he thinks I might need a rear motor mount, but he said his car did the same thing so he ended up cutting the fan blades in half. For now, we have the fan unplugged completely but I want to plug it back in. I need that fan for my AC work and without my AC the damn windshield wont defog during rain.

The noise was the fan hitting the oxygen sensor. How is your AC working with that fan being off?
