Does anyone know if removing the stopper will hurt the motor. I was told that it would by the dealership and I just dont see how

Why would you want to remove it? There's no point. If you think it will make your car faster, you're sadly mistaken. If that were the case I'd just cut a hole in my floorboard instead of turboing my car. Then I could push it all the way down to the ground.



Lets just say this... I'm over 100whp and soon to cross 200whp. Thanx 2GNT! Now if I could only learn to prove it.

You'll end up blowing the welds on the intake manifold before too long.

no use in taking it out. if your throttle is adjusted correctly, when the pedal meets the stopper you should be at wot. you cant go past that point because your plate is completely open. if it were possible to pull the cable more, the plate would start to lean again, and slow the car. just leave the stopper in there. its not some mechanical speed governor. and go back and slap the shit outta whoever told you that it would hurt your car.
