#73923, "Lagging with Venom ECU upgrade"

When I give full throttle with my Venom ECU upgrade turned on, it feels like my car looses horsepower and then gains horse power. I changed my TPS sensor and it is still doing it. Could it be my MAP sensor of IAC sensor?

Could be a shitty ECU upgrade. Is this the Venom 400? Not very many 2gnt guys have been pleased with the results from such "upgrades". Sorry bro.

I'd be willing t bet you if you ditched that Venom crap, not only would your car run better at WOT, but you'd completely fix the problem you're describing.

Actually, they love ECU upgrades that actually DO SOMETHING. All the Venom 400 does is play with the TPS voltage a little, play with the IAT voltage a little, and does nothing at WOT. NOTHING. It's not even an ECU upgrade, it's a stupid black box.

Show me ANY dyno results NOT from Venom's website showing a gain with the Venom 400 and i'll eat crow.

Ooo:whoa
But yeah man. If you search you'll see that the Venom ECU is a POS that everyone who has gotten one seems to hate.

She's a good car. But it's time for me to move on. I'll miss her more than anything but my next car will have the same heart with the same passionate drivers. I hope things workout best for the both of us.
