What is it saying? When we did Soulcontroller's rebuild, he had AFX gears where the marks were not lined up properly..didn't know that at first, and when the motor was run, it idled like crap, and had low vac..Turned out the gears were not marked right..just ended up putting on the stock gears, set the timing, and it ran perfect..This is why i keep saying it could be your cam timing...when i put the datalogger on his car, the timing advance was all over the place at idle..even went into the negatives! That was not right at all, because the ECU was trying to figure out timing with the cams being off..It should idle between 2-9 degrees advance, and it will fluctuate between these values...If it reads any different, then its your cam timing. Your are prob running too rich because if your exhaust cam is off, that throws off your cam sensor, which is used to tell the ECU to inject fuel, and timing.
my fuel pressure is back at 30 psi...i dont know why or how i got it down to 22psi, but it wont go any lower than 30 again....ill check my timing again....they are AEM cam gears, i had them on the car before and it idled perfect....i remarked the gears already, i lined them up with the stockers and remarked them.... im going to try messing with the exhaust cam gear and adjust it to see what happens...thanks, ill let you know what happens doug
