im not absolutely positive about this but im pretty sure you have to upgrade other valvetrain components to have different cams. pt cruiser roller rockers and lifters is a vavetrain upgrade for us, anyone care to throw in some more info about this?

about the timing, the marks shouldnt change, the timing is set just like it normally would

cam installs aren't that hard pretty simple actually had mine in a few minutes. just make sure they are lubed good . and if they are crane 16s your gonna have 2 cylinders where the lobes are on the rockers . just use the screwdriver trick to get those 4 rockers in

they are called cam gears. camshafts are usually called cams for short. next time be more specific. to answer your questions.

they are just the same as regular cam gears. have him zero them out, if they are moved at all. then have him install them regular. line up the marks and do everything normal.

correct me if i'm wrong but, the AEM cam gears are the ones that need remarked. if you go with fidanza, you won't have to remark them. i would say wait for a confirmation on what i just said before you go any further with buying things and such, but i'm pretty sure that's correct.

god, just make sure your gears are identical if your ordering them from modern performance, they sent me two different gears and gave me a very hard time when trying to return them.
