3" piping will not fit above and over the rear suspension crossmember. (Hence, Apexi and others goes under the crossmember). This unit goes over the crossmember, which will not happen with full 3" piping, so it looks like the crimped and dented that section on the bend to clear the crossmember so it will fit over it. Therefore the piping at that area has got to be like 2.5 or 2.75 inches in diameter, not 3" as stated. Price is good being that is comes with a DP. but its not the best.

I would have to disagree on this one. I have a 3" exhaust that fits over the crossmember. it barely fits there, but mine does. this is my exhaust.

I have only heard it on my friend civic and it was 2.5 and it sounded alright for a civic.Im sure it will sound different on a turbo 420a.
