i noticed my car had a bit of a tick to it..nothing to bad but i noticed it..now tonight it got worse a really bad tapping kinda noise coming from the pulley area or timing belt area..i dont think its coming from the valve cover..does anyone know what this could be..let me know..thanks

well if you say its coming from the power steering area, check the tensioner pulley below the power steering assembly itself. If its coming from the valve cover, its probably a lifter going bad..this just happened to me.

it might be the pulley cause i had problems with it squealing like crazy but it went away so it prolly is that i do need to change all my belts..i just ordered a underdrive pulley so i guess i will be doing everything soon..
