yeah i went to a magnaflow deal and they told me i could not just buy a muffler they told me i had to get a cat back system for my 99 rs eclipse and i was wondering if that is true and if there are any other good brands that arent real high and annoying eathier cat back or just the muffler thanks for your help

depends on how much money you wanna spend....

i have a magnaflow muffler welded to my stock piping, and muffler shop like meinake can do that. but it wont give any performance gains.

the muffler cost me 100$, and the welding & angers cost me 90$


to be honest, i should have just saved the extra money and got a catback... which is what you should do.

you can get a magnaflow catback for abour 350$ and a apex'i catback for 420$...
