the only headgasket that i can seem to find is a prelimandry(sp) plus headgasket....its like the silverish one...i used MLS before, but i cant seem to find them anymore....will this one hold up? im going to be running a good amount of boost on 9.6:1 compression... what does everyone think? thanks

why dont you get the mls from a dealer? this is umm, just about the most important part of the rebuild... you dont want that thing leaking... or you could get the felpro from NAPA, its MLS also... MLS = multi layer steal... so you should be able to spot it pretty easy

ohh yea, don't forget the little red o ring

yeah, but is the other type of headgasket that much worse? i think i can get a MLS headgasket from NAPA, but i wanted the whole kit, and they dont have that one in a kit....and for the little red O'ring...it looks like i have two of them, it looks like there is one on the bedplate and one on the block? is that right? do i only need one? thanks

There was a problem with the older head gaskets.. that's why we put it in BOLD that you WANT the new MLS one, unless you want to do the job over again later... Just a warning...

Not sure about the red o ring... Previous owner paid to have the engine assembled..

Kometic (sp?) head gaskets are available as well.

fuck it, ill get the mls and buy everything seperate....i knew the mls was better, but i figured that the other one would hold up too... thanks
