Okay guys.....I've done pretty good at keeping up with all my bolts and parts etc.(labeled zip-locs). But, the inevitable has happened!

I can't find my crank pulley bolt anywhere, I lost it a while ago but now it's close to time for needing it. Anyone know which bolt I can pick up from the store that will work(size/thread/etc.)

Thanks in advance

Tony

i just saw a post in the pits about a crank bolt thats 1 inch longer than stock or sale, might want to pm him and as him for measurement, or even if he has another on for sale thats the right size. If you cant find one thats the correct size you can always use washers to make up for the length difference.

It's am M12 with a 1.75 pitch I think.

But I would only use an OEM bolt on this. It's hardened and strong enough. It's only a few bucks from the dealer if I remember right, I bought a second one a while back.

If you must go buy a bolt elsewhere please make sure it's a grade 10.9

Agreed. You don't want to step on it one day and shear that sucker off. I say go to Satan for this one man. At least it's just a bolt and not a $65 SRT4 fog light trim piece. emoji

Hmm... interesting advice from a guy who not too long ago broke his car... I'm surprised you didn't stud your crankshaft, hahhaa.

Go check your e-mail Jo.
