The Greddy headers are 4 into 1 adn the DC headers are 4-2-1 is that going to make a big difference???

One will give you 5hp, the other will give you 6hp....buying a HEADER isn't going to do much for you. This has been discussed before.

And HEADERS are for V-8 and V-6 cars, when you have an inline 4 cylinder and there's ONE exhaust bank you say HEADER.

4-2-1 would be the best bet...i believe youll see more gains in mid to top for the 4-1's.

Another option would be to go to a site like Jet-Hot and buy the header pre-coated. I think the guy at Jet-Hot (based here in Phoenix) quoted me about $270ish for the Pacesetter 4-2-1 in their super-badass-pimp-finish. I wouldn't spend too much money buying a name plate when it comes to a header.

4-1: designed for peak hp - power band moves up in the rpms
4-2-1: designed for overall gains - power band smooths out across the rpms

Not a major mod for our cars. emoji

They have it..just haven't sold one...I'm waiting to Dyno one as soon as Jason gets around to sending it. I'm patient though, and he's swamped with work, but according to him...this is most likely the best header out there. High flow cat or test pipe and exhaust needed for optimum results. You have to have an exhaust shop fabricate a piece of tubing to join the header to the cat...not hard though...a place here quoted me $30 to do it.

it was explained to me, that most headers for our cars dont give gains because they are just re-tubed stock manifolds...no real testing goes into them.

to my knowledge DC sports actually did testing on their header, so it should give better gains than others.

i would take the DC sports over any header out right now, and ill be buying it soon. its 240$ on adventon.com(it says 380, but just click checkout and you get an 'instant rebate')
