Would this be futureproof and perform well with a turbo setup? Is a 4" Tip too big? I have heard good things about these setups having a good growl. Anyone happen to have a sound clip?
Thanks In Advance

i have a custom 2.25" magnaflow setup and it sounds pretty nice... i think if your gonna go turbo you SHOULD get atleast a 2.5" or maybe a 3" but you dont HAVE to. im not turboed but i got my exhaust like 3 years ago. when i replace it i will go with the 3" because i have plans for a turbo again someday and the 3" sounds better imo..... basically if your thinkin "turbo" i would personally go bigger than 2.25" but its not required... hell some guys just replace the stock muffler with the gst muffler and leave the stock 2" pipe. its really up to you dude.
hope that helps

our cars "are" 2.25 when the pipe is straight, but remember OEM is not mandrel bent, it's kinked at the bends. I have that cat back. their dyno numbers are pretty high. my car tested at around +5 hp and 5ft/lbs of torque with the magnaflow.

here it goes: you want 3" for the turbo, period, it oes work NA but you'll lose exhaust gas velocity - nemesis but it's only temporary since you'll be turbo

i wouldn't buy a 2.25" myself. it depends on your setup really, if you plan on running a really big turbo(20g or t3/t4) i'd say go 3" turbo back. a 2.5" exhaust if fine for a 16g or the likes. we have guys running 12's all day long on supra sidemounts and 2.5" buschur exhausts. a bigger exhaust is always better w/ turbo, just depends on your money situation. you could go stock exhaust w/ a qtec, it flows better than a 3" when the cutout is open. save yourself 200 bucks and have a sleeper.
