Well after rebuilding the whole engine adding a turbo kit redo the whole fuel system and going wtih a 8 injector setup. The car starts fine ideal is a little shacky the only cod eit throw was 1390 crank postioning sensor so i assume it needs to be replaced. But the major problom is that The new spec clutch won't disengage. I thought it was the slave so i changed it but that didn't work. NO matter how long i pump the clutch peddle it won't release it. Anyone have anyideas.

Are you feeling resistance in the clutch pedal? If so, is the clutch slave cylinder actuating? The best way to check this is to have somebody watch under the hood while somebody else pumps the clutch. There is a rod that comes out of the slave cylinder that pushes on the end of the fork. See if this moves with the clutch pedal. If it does, then it is a clutch problem, or a clutch fork problem. If it isn't moving, then it is a hydraulic problem, which could mean anything from faulty lines, a faulty master or slave cylinder, or a system in need of bleeding.

You did bleed the system right? If you pulled the clutch line to pull the tranny with the block, you would have to bleed the line. emoji

That's right. You have the correct TOB then.

I would still bleed your clutch fluid as suggested though. Doublecheck your slave cylinder as well. Did you mount it correctly after the rebuild. Also, check your shifter cables.

Something's funny and your have to diagnose it, by going through everything. It migth help to have someone maniuplate the shifter while your'e looking at the shifter cables.

I will add this if it helps. I drove it around the block pushed it gave it gas slide it into to gear and went around and just let off the gas and found the gear. THe slave is on properly i will double check tho never hurts. But what does the check engine light mean about the crank postioning sensor. I don't raelly want to tare into the trans unless i have to. Any ideas will be checked and used. TIA
