Ok I got a qoute from my mechanic for 300.00 to 500.00 for my 40,000 check up... I would rather do most of the work myself...Could someone please let me know all the things I should do for this service.... I would rather spend the money on mods.... THanks guys......

The only major maintenance is 30k and 60k. 40k is just basically an oil change and some other little things. Shouldn't cost over 100 bucks. I would say do the spark plugs, oil change, and maybe a couple other small things...nothing major is scheduled for 40k though.

Ohh hehe, well just look in your manual, or go to the dealer and ask for their brochure of what is included in 30k maintenance. Basically, I think it was about 250 for the 30k maintenance which included oil change, tranny fluid change, a lot of bs like check brake pads, check wear and tear and fluid levels etc. They also replace the air filter but since I had an AEM, they did nothing. Basically, I think all you need is a basic check of everything, and changing oil, tranny fluid, spark plugs. Shouldn't be over 300 bucks no matter what, unless you do a lot of extra stuff.
