if you tighten the two bolts on the throttle cable too tight can it cause my gas peddle to stick?? thats the only thing i can think of because i installed a ground wire kit and since then the gas sticks when i firts hit it... what else can it be if not that? i will loosen them up tomorrow and see what happens but i just wanted to see if anyone knows anything....

Spray some wd-40 onto the TB spring, and on the TB throttle cable slider, and also on the spring on the pedal under the car. If none of this does it then you need to clean your TB w/ some TB cleaner.

Cheers! emoji

carb cleaner gets my vote. the gas pedal on my moms pathfinder would get stuck from time to time....last time i was home, sprayed in some carb cleaner...problem solved, i havent heard anything about it since.

The throttle plate or the cable itself is sticking.

The cable can catch and bind in itself, more likely is that the throttle plate is dirty and sticking.

if you torqued the bolts to factory spec(huh? whats that) then my moneys on the plate being gunked up. take your intake pipe off, open the flap by hand and use a small brass wire brush to clean the opening and the plate. should solve your problems. or its crankwalk emoji
