Ok I got everything, I had only about 2 hours yesterday to work on it and that included driving 15 miles to get some tools so I didn't finish the headgasket change, I did manage to disassemble the timing (the damn 4" bolts were the worst part as usual) and got the head off, man the gasket leak was bad, I am pretty sure it isnt the gasket that was the cause as much as the sealant that I used. This time I am not going to use any sealant, unless someone specifies otherwise. But my question mainly is I had about an 1/8th" of coolant on top of my pistons, what problems does this mean other than the gasket? Like does that most likely mean that my sparkies are gone too and is there any way to test sparkplugs while they are out of the car as well as my wires for them? Thanks fellers.. lay lay

yep, use the copper spray for the headgasket, as well as clean off your pistons well. Next, buy a new set of sparkplugs..they are cheap and you dont have to second guess them. Third, if you say you had a huge leak from the headgasket im sure thats the cause of the coolant being all over the place. Just make sure both surfaces are 100 percent clean/clear of leftover headgasket before the install this time and make sure all the holes line up..we've seen hg's go on backwards so its better to be safe than sorry. Dont forget to shave down the rear drivers side headbolt either!

10-4, I bought some copper spray, that stuff is awesome, and I accidentally sprayed it on my front fender, hope it comes off thanks fellers, and just for being nice w/ that quick reply Alex, I wont fuck your car up next week later
