I made a spreadsheet to calculate your vehicle speed according to your engine speed. This will be useful to those of us with a manual tranny, because we don't have to worry about slippage in the torque converter like auto guys. I made this while my speedo was screwed up. On the first page you can enter whatever gearing you have in your car, and your tire and wheel size. It automatically calculates the tire diameter and circumference and updates the chart with the speed. I thought some of you may find this usefull, especially guys running tires that aren't stock size. You can see how much it threw off your speedo. It is a pretty big file, about 3.7 mb. Let me know what you think of it and if you find it useful.

Umm... looks like geocities can't handle it... email me the files and ill host it on my comcast space.. PROVIDED it actually returns at some point (note the red x below...)

i made something like this long time ago, except you could enter in wheel diamter, tire size, and gear ratios and it would spit out your speed at 1000 rpm increments. plus you could compare two tire sizes to see the difference in speed. however, it was lost when my computer screwed up. i plan to make it again though... never thought of making graphs for it though.

Damn, I can't email it. It is too big to email from Hotmail. Any other ideas? It is a 3.7 mb file. I have the file on a computer at school, I can't even access it from home. Until Geocites lets me acess it I am SOL. Once I can get it on my computer here I can send it to you over AOL IM if you have it.

hey, got it down to 91kb, ill email it to you if you want so its not so friggin big. you dont need to calculate the speed at EVERY sincgle rpm. i just changed it so it only does it every 50 rpm, which still is probably too much, 100 rpm increments would be better. your graphs wont change any and having that much less data decreases the size of the file a WHOLE lot. or you can change it yourself, just redo the data to only find it in 50 or 100 rpm increments rather than going up by 1 rpm.
