every time i start my car, when its in neutral and im off the clutch, i can hear this scratching under the hood. i think its the clutch, but when the car warms up, the noise goes away. when the noise is present, if i get on the clutch it will go away too. any insite?
on a side note, every time i turn my wheel to a certain point, i hear this loud ass screatching noise. happens every time i try and turn the wheel hard. its kind of funny when i go to school and try to parallel and it makes that horrid sound, and i end up scaring people. well, that and i embarass myself. any and all help is needed. thanks!

Sorry to tell you this but it's input shaft bearing. I got the same thing. NOT your TO bearing. You can drive on it. Hell I've driven mine for about a year and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I'm just too lazy to either find a junk tranny to rebuild or find another tranny period.

Ya I got the same shizzzit, buddy....my shits running all crackling and popping and grinding, but drives like a champ. When the engine is warmed up, the tranny noise goes away. imma just run that biotch to the ground until it or whatever eventually goes out and I gotta replace it. haha.. thanks for the help guys! looks like im goin to be running it down to dust too! who am i to argue with two others! just going with the flow. and it appears that my car is running fine, just sounds like shit for the first couple mins. ill live. thanks again.

Yeah keep in mind to just your tranny happy with fluid(oh shit gotta go change mine soon) b/c bearings like fluid. I have no idea what the best fluid is. It's a huge debate. I'll try to get some BG synchroshift and let you guys know how good the stuff is.
