okay, i am a total shit stick!!! i am new to this rebuild stuff and i think i got myself into a hurry and didn't use my head. heres the issues:

motor and tranny are back in car. I did not think to/realize that i needed to lube some things. I put in a new TOB as well. (did not rebuild tranny tho, just motor)
My questions:

1. do those 2 little clips on the TOB need to be connected to the fork? Is there a way to do this thu the rubber dust plug?

2. Is there any way to lube the input shaft, the TOB, and the fork pivot ball by removing the rubber dust cover?

3. what else needs to be/should have been lubed in the bell housing? i have a Spec satge 3 modular clutch, with a fidanza aluminum flywheel?

Thank you!

This won't completely answer your questions but, those little clips do need to be attached to the fork, some people have had rattling when they haven't been. You can use a grease gun to lube the input shaft, the TOB, and the fork pivot ball. That's all that needs to be lubed in the bell housing. Be sure not to get any grease on the friction disk when using the gun!! And don't apply it excessively.

I'm not sure if your going to be able to get those clips through the dust plug unless your a surgeon.

>1. do those 2 little clips on the TOB need to be connected to the fork?
Yes. Your fork should fit between the large portion of the TOB and the clip so that the TOB slides w/ the fork along the shaft in both directions.

>Is there a way to do this thu the rubber dust plug?
Sort of. You still have to undo the tranny bolts and back the tranny off just a little (an inch or so) and then you can put the fork through the TOB clips.

>2. Is there any way to lube the input shaft, the TOB, and the fork >pivot ball by removing the rubber dust cover?
I really doubt it. If you try, be really careful like ^^ said.

>3. what else needs to be/should have been lubed in the bell housing? i >have a Spec satge 3 modular clutch, with a fidanza aluminum flywheel?
Nothing that I can remember at the moment.

would engine assembly lube be a good choice for all the parts that need some lube, or would general bearing grease or white lithium be good?
