Considering some options, either rebuild bottom end or do a swap, which ever is more cost effective.

Can a SRT-4 bottom end be swapped in easily? Ignore the electronics as it's going to be controlled by an aftermarket ECU.

you can do a 2.4 non srt4 block anything

the 2.4 95-2002 is not very ahrd to swap in ealges and aftermarket pistons are available now too crower also.

you will need a custom oil pan mod a motor mount bigger injectors rewired plugs and injectors plus rotating the cam angle sensor.

lenghtened exhaust and modified dip stick.

p/s and a/c dont owrk unless a bracket is made.

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
