Well, I want to put a CAI on my car but my car has a plastic wall right where the intake and filter leads to. The wall blocks the intake and I have no idea what to do. I'm not sure whether or not it's just my car or if anyone of you has that problem as well. I've read that a CAI is supposed to lead to that little vent on the front bumper but that plastic wall thing is blocking it for me. Someone please help, thanks a lot.

Damn this has been sooooo long ago for me, but I think you are refering to the splash guard?
First you need to esatblish which CAI you have. INjen and AEM do not have fitment problems. the piping fits perfectly in front of the splash guard. You just might need to get creative and start trimming away at the plastic.

Yeah, I think it is the splash guard. I have the AEM CAI so it should fit right? What do you mean by trimming away at the plastic? Do you mean cut the splash guard?

i just installed my AEM. no fitment problems here. there is a gap where the pipe fits right through the splach guard and to install the filter, u'd have to put it in from under the car. one suggestion, push the horn back as far as you can or it ll get in the way of the filter. when your under there, u'll see that the horn is mounted on an aluminum bracket. you just want to push the whole assembly towards the wheel. also, push the filter into the pipe as far as you can so you can access the hose clamp from under the hood. if its AEM, you should have no problem.

I had an Ebay one a few weeks back and it just went down touching the splash guard. I got an AEM, and the tube extended farther down and accross than the Ebay one. When I installed the Ebay 1, I got away with removing only part of the OEM intake. But when I installed the AEM 1, due to the pipe going all the way down to the cresent shaped opening, I had to remove the OEM part of the intake that filters out any water.
And ditto on the horn thing. Just loosen the bolt and turn that thing as far up as possible to get the cone on.
