I would agree with Marc on this one. Consider this: every shot of N2O shortens the life of your internals. The lower the shot you run, and the less often you use it, the longer you have until you have to tear it apart. A motor running a 50 shot will likely last longer than an engine runnin a 75 if sprayed under the same circumstances and same amounts.

It's your engine. How would you like it cooked? Personally, I like mine with some pink in the middle. Well done is cooked all the way through. emoji

It's all in the tuning. The extra heat created by nitrous is going to be yoru downfall. So make sure you are geting enough fuel to balance it out and run good exhaust gas temps and a good air:fuel ratio.

So slap the nitrous on and start saving to build the engine.

Just run a wet-kit, then the extra fuel you need is taken care of for you by the kit itself. One step colder plugs and an aftermarket ignition(like a programmable MSD) would be good ideas, but no necessities(except the colder plugs, those are a must-have). i ran a 75-shot on my car for over 2 years before i built/turbocharged it, and the stock internals were perfect when we took it apart.
