OK I just got done putting my ported head and cams on. When I go to fire her up it would fire then cut. It wouldent start so then I tried giving her some gas. I got it to run but the tach wasnt workin. This tells me something is fucked up with a sensor or something. Which sensor sends a signal to the tach? Also what is the vaccume supposed to be with crower stage two cams? Be advaised I also moved my battery to the trunk. Any thought would be helpful. I will have some more time to mess with it tommrow.

cant tell ya much about the sensor, but with my crower stage 2s and some p/p work my vacuum is only reading 5 Hg. Ive been trying to figure out a remedy for a couple months now...nothing yet

ok well I got it to start. I reset the computer. It runs fine and idles fine but when I am moving and go to stop it will stall. however it will idle fine all day when it is sitting. Is this something the computer has to adjust for the cams? I also have a jeep throttle body.

You need an S-AFC, you need to trick the ECU, right now you are running Pig rich. Probably smoking out an Oxygen sensor while you're at it. Trust me I know. The vacuum at idle resembles what the ECU looks for under load and at wider open throttles. The ECU responds by dumping fuel in. You are drowning yourself out everytime you come to a stop. Too much fuel not enough air, and with the extra load of the brake booster, the car dies. Another trick that could help in the mean time is adjust your throttle plate stop on the TB to allow the engine to pullmore air in to satisfy the cams hunger for air. But you really need an S-AFC to bring your fuel trims back in order to get a good idle and to possibly save an O2 sensor.

OK, well it seems I am going to have to bite the bullet and get an safc. Would it be worth it to get an E-manage? I am running an 8 injector setup. The e-manage seems like it could take the place of both of those tools. Just throwing arround options. Anyone else have any Ideas?
