the cylinder head which is aluminum and is only grounded as far as i know in one place where as my plugs were individually grounded put a wire loop on each spark plug before screwing it in then run that wire to a distribution block then to the negative on the battery , i tested the resistance a bout a year ago between the cylinder head and neg then between the wire loop and the negative , there is a lot less resitance with the loop there fore there is more spark energy,,guys our head has a very weak ground this not only grounds the spark plugs but also the heads resitence droppe

basically you take a 2 ft long wire like the kind you buy at homedepotfor hanging pics and chandeliers loop it at one end take a spark plug out loop it around the spark plug then put the spark plug back in put boot back on hook up the wire to the distribution block then do 3 more

The cylinder head grounds through the block via the headbolts, as well as through the intake manifold. The block is grounded through the big 4g wire attached to the bolt that runs through the starter flange and into the block.
Adding a dinky little wire probably won't help much compared to the ground path provided by 10 big hefty head bolts.

don't know if my previous message posted ,but if you measure the resistance between the head and the neg ground on the batt it will have more resistance then the end of the ground loop and the neg gorund of the battery it is less ,so in theory it will provide a more intense sprk to the plugs ,,,i think this is a cheap mod that works maybe doesn't show a significant difference but does work and does change spark intensity ,,,my opinion with a little bit of fact
