Which Headers(4-2-1) Provide The Best Low End Performance? Any Suggestions Or Links To Sites Would Be Very Helpful! Thanks A Lot Guys!

Greddy makes an excellent header. It fit perfectly without any modification, however, it is the most costly header ($390 at www.morepowerracing.com).

I persoanlly haev greddy and its perfect IMO. no way i'd pay for a part i have to work on before it will fit. my friend bought a pacesetter header and catback for his triumph TR6 and the header fit like shit. we had to grind away alot of the intake mani and parts of the flange and the catback piping was about a foot too short. im not a pacesetter fan. on pacesetter

also, a header is piping that connects to the exhaust side of the head for each bank of cylinders. being as we only have one bank, you just need "a header". goodluck man.

Well if im correct on this Greddy only improves high end performance. Im lookin for low end. Any other low end header out there beside pace setter?

OBX makes a header but i dont really know about its performance gains, ill have one soon tho

I had a pacesetter header because it was given to me. It was fine for something that was free. I noticed a little low-end gain with it. When it rusted out, I switched to the OBX 4-1 header. I like it a lot better. Fitment was nicer, it looks nicer in the engine bay, and it moved the power band up a bit. Overall I'd say the 4-2-1 pacesetter gave me low-mid range power, but was of crappy quality. I didn't mind because it was free. The OBX 4-1 gave mid-high range power, and is very nice quality. It's also priced at about half of what the greddy is.

I have the OBX 4-1 Headers. I gained ALOT of top end power. Plus they were cheaper than other brands.

has anyone had any fitment problems with the OBX 4-1 header? Either at the head or at the cat. I can't decide which one I want to get.

I had my OBX 4-1 polished one on the car within less than an hour, no problems... well cept that it turned "gold" within 5min of idle'n the engin
OH WELL, It works and has that "rode hard" look to it now. I do think that I will have to heat shield the radiator hose from it soon. The stock hose is geting a crack in the outer form plasti Anyome else have that happen?

I've had both 4/2/1 and 4/1 headers on my car. I had a Bosal 4/2/1 was definatly a dissapointment when it came to low end, the only way I can describe the loss is if you compare it to driving with your a/c on, and the top end was non-exsistant at best. My current header is the Greddy 4/1 and I have to say that my car is about the same as it used to be when I had my stocker on with mabe a little more grip when taking off from a stop. Top end is also not very noticable.

lol well i only care for low end performance right now. High end isn't a issue for me. Pacesetter's are the only header i have found that makes a 4-2-1. Does anyone here actually like their pacesetter header?

a header isnt gonna give you more low end "power" IMO. if you want your car to be faster, you want top end anyways. thats why people get cai's, bigger exhausts, and larger throttle bodies. if you want a peppier throttle response, get a bigger TB IMO. goodluck.
