#64128, "greddy type s question"

a buddy of mine just bought the greddy type s for his 96 gst, but he bought the universal one. here is my question, he didnt purchase the kit, he has the flange, BOV, and a black hose, but he's missing some sort of adapter, the flange has nothing to bolt up to...is it possible for him to have his greddy BOV hooked up to his stock IC pipe hoses? i bought my BOV and IC pipe kit together so i dont know my BOV bolted right on to the pipe...

What flange does it have? If it's the same flange that the 1g bovs use then something like this would work

he doesnt have that adapter circular piece, the flange is perfect fit for the greddy, but its just a flange, not the circular piece, where can he get that piece from?

the universal kits require you to weld the flange onto the upper intercooler piping.

your not supposed to use the blow off valve on the stock pipe- you use it on upgraded pipe. many upgraded pipes give you an option to which flange you want on there. the common ones are Type S, 1g, or HKS SS. So if he picks up an Upper Intercooler Pipe already flanged for it, all he'll have to do is put on the BOV. If he makes his own, he'll have to have that flange welded on.
