I know this is a report, but I couldn't find the old post about it. I finally installed my port polished/matched intake mani with mp 60mm tb yesterday. I can tell a difference now. But, there is a problem. I'm idleing little higher than before..like 1000~1100. Is that normal? I used to idle around 800 or so. The biggest concern is that my butterfly won't open all the way. I've messed with it for a while but, couldn't really get it to open horizontally. I think it's due to not enough slack on the steel string. I do remember reading something about drilling new holes for the wire guide "black peice where the steel string connects", but is that the only way to fix it?
I just can't figure out how to keep that steel string long enough to close the butterfly all the way, but open it compleatly with normal string slack. HELP ME!!!

Me!
But, anyone else have any input? I've messed with the cable holder thing on intake mani...but didn't make any difference. see, if i move that holder way back the butterfly will open 100%. BUT, then it wont shut all the way. It seems like it need to move more cable to open and close. I really don't want to drill like Micheal aka Clayapples did.. sorry. Is there anywhere I can adjust the tension on that cable? Help!!
