what is the thickness of this wire? is it thicker than most of the others in the wireing harness and around the same thickness of the tach? i am wiring my a/f gauge and i want to make sure i am splicing into the correct wire.

bobin' and weavin' in traffic. No other place i'd rather be emoji.

yes, i know it is a white wire with a black stripe, but is the wire thicker than most of the rest? the only white wire with a black \stripe that i can find is around the same thickenss as the solid white tach wire. i just want to make sure this is the right one..

EDIT: maybe i should also tell you all that i am splicing into the harness in the driverside wheelwell(all the wires covereved by tthe plastic covering in the wheelwell. i am not splicing in the actual engine bay( i just thought it would look tacky. maybe this will help at all...i dunno!

i didnt notice it being thicker than any other wire in there but yes peel away the wire loom and splice into it and you'll be fine.

blah...cause this white wire with black stripe is definately thicker like the tach signal wire. im not sure if i should splice it or not. i guess i could just splice it to see if i get a signal, and if not, then its not it! heh. will the gauge just not light up if there is no signal? (this is the autometer one )
