i have a 98 gs and i bought a turbo kit. i went to install it, realized i didnt have all the parts, so i put the stock stuff back on until i get everything i need. however, now that its back together, my engine sounds like one of those old cadilacs with more rust than paint. i have a 3 inch cat back exhaust so its hard to hear exactly what it sounds like, but i think it might be the manifold.... does it make a loud sound if it is not tightened enough? or what else could it be?
it didnt make that sound before i took it off so i fucked something up.

If u reused the same gaskets as before that could very well be the problem, seeing the gaskets woulda already be crushed and used... Also if u didnt torque everything to the book then it could cause an exhaust leak... Dunno though...
