OK guys, I've been having some ignition related troubles. My stock wires are slowly dying. So, I figure with Christmas coming up, I'll splurge and get plug wires and a new coil. I'm pretty set on the coilpack, but I'm lost when it comes to wires. I've seen 8mm, 8.5mm, and 10.3mm. MSD vs. Crane vs. Nology. Please help guys, I'd like my car to run decent, it pisses you off to see all your money and hardwork not do right. Anyways, here is what what I've "got" so far:

Coils:
Screamin Demon Coilpack - $64.95
MSD Coil - $79.95

Wires:
Accel 8mm 300+ - $34.95
Crane Firewire 8.5mm DOHC - $44.95
MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor - $54.95
OBX 10.3mm wires
Nology Hotwires - $150.96 (** Decide against these a. the price and b. this page http://iwcweb.com/eclipse/html/warning.html )

I have the MSD coil and Magnecore 8.5 wires and I haven't had a problem. I've heard the Screamin Demon is a little bit better but I have no proof. Hope this helps fix your problem.

jwoodley hey it me from se.dsm.org. anyways go to summitracing.com and the msd coil is like $65. and I have heard that bad story about the nology wires on the 420a like that page you have posted, I like the msd wires with the coil (that is what I have) but that is just my opinion.

I also have the MSD coil pack and wires. After installation, my gas mileage went up enormously. no exageration. I got both of them from summitracing.com

hey nightwolf, glad to see you found your way to this board. its amazing. i hardly post at se.dsm.org anymore due to all the knowledge u can find over here. i appreciate everyones opinion. I'm probably gonna go with the screamin' demon coil, i know babyeclipse has it and he loves it. as far as the wires go...msd seems to be primo, while i still keep hearing good stuff on accel. the obx 10.3 will just be overkill IMO. I'll probably go to a local performance store on SAT and see if they can get me what I need. If not, I'll be doing my first business with Howell. wish me luck.

bump..still need advice. is anyone willing to send me a stock #2 cylinder plug wire? i think just my #2 has died. =/

Where are located? I have one, but I'm not sure how good it is, I can test the resistance on it and find out though.
