#63457, "Can I get to the tranny plug by removing battery?"
Im at school right now and I was just hinking, instead of going to the hastle of rolling up on wood jacking up my car,can I just remove the battery to get to the lil rubber plug where i pour in tranny fluid? I want to check how much is in there. I think I might be leaking tranny fluid instead of oil. If so...im thinking I just didint put the axles all the way in. I guess if thats the case I would have to jack my car up anyways. But TIA 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 10th Anniversary OZ Edition

MTX of course...well Im just gonna jack the mofo up...hopefully this is my problem.
EDIT: Anyone know...if my axles werent all the way in, would it cause to leak between the block and the tranny? or do I just need to accept the fact that I have a messed up rear main seal. 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 10th Anniversary OZ Edition
