alright, so on my way to school today it was pouring like a bitch. i was going up a hill where water was rushing out on to the road. About half way up the hill, i sucked in some water and i heard the misfiring. My car still continued up the hill and ran for another 2-3 miles until i got to school. When i got to school, i reved my engine a few good times, 4k - 5k (to clear out any water). I sat and let it idle for about 5 mins before i shut it off. It idled damn near perfect. I had a check engine light so i checked the codes and got 43, which means cylinder misfire. I tryied to start it back up but it wouldn't even turn over. However, my battery light was on for most of my 30 min drive to school today... thats another problem. So i'm pretty sure i'll just need jumped and my car will fire back up. Do you think i'm in big trouble, or did i get lucky this time

That all depends what is causing your car not 2 start. Won't know until U try 2 jump it. Hopefully U got lucky

i'm kinda thinking, since my car ran descently from the time that it happened all the way to school i should be ok. I don't know

happened to me. change your oil asap. there was water in my oil. and the same water also helped to rust my greddy exhaust from the inside

ok, so you're thinking that the extent of the damage is simply a little bit of water in my oil. is that ok to drive it 10 miles home?

ok so my car starts, it runs fine, and i think my underdrive pulley isn't charging my battery enough. sorry for the wasted post

Not a wasted post, a viable concern. Anyways, having an UDP should have no problem or any real negative impact supplying your Alternator enough juice to recharge a car battery. Definately go 4 an oil change. If U find yourself running in2 water quite often, I'd tell U 2 invest in an AEM Air-bypass valve. While it may B controversial w/ some, they can really help in wet areas. I live in sunny er rainy South FL, so it helps.
