i took mine back to satan cuz it was under warranty, they said that there was a recall on this. Check with them and See what they say. I have replaced my belt i dont know how many times. I have also replaced my pulley twice emoji it gets expensive! Hope this helps

Welcome to the club!

Just get a belt from an auto parts store that is under warranty. Most of them will even replace it if it flys out of your car on the freeway. Just remember to keep your recipt.

nothing against you, but we REALLY REALLY need somthng archived on this. do a search for "p/s belt" or similar and youll find a lot of info (especially from me, lol).

there are 4 pullies involved in that system: the crankshaft, the power steering, the a/c, and the tensioner. the two leading causes (by far) of thrown belts are a loose crankshaft pully and a bad tensioner. you can isolate the system so that you are only running the p/s and crankshaft pullies by following my instructions here:

http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=46174&mesg_id=46174&listing_type=search

if you have anymore questions, please post them here. ive been meaning to do a write-up on thrown belt diagnosis for a loooong time, but ive been to busy recently. perhaps this will give me the impitus to do so, lol. emoji

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:
