race division is 1 piece, but you can just order the extension. i think ptuning.com has the best price i've seen. quick shipment! personally i would stick with the 2 piece design, for weather purposes and actually on the dyno graph the 2 piece fairs better hmm.. hope that helps

you said it just dissapeared??? like it fell off or something?? cause i have had mine on for quite some time and even a damn squirrel hit the filter and nothing happened except it bent up the filter a little bit. if the bottom section fell off then (no offense) but it might have not been mounted properly? did you use the rubber bushing and mount it to the black plate under your fuse box?? i mounted it there and i have never even had it rattle, it is solidly mounted and im very happy with it. stay with 2 piece and get an extension for the summer months.

im pretty sure it was mounted properly. it was as tight as it could be without being too tight. hung a little low tho so it might have fallen off. i dont see how tho. the roads here really suck so that doesnt help. oh well. would putting header wrap on the now short ram do anything emoji

nothing too noticeable will come of the header wrap. it's still sucking in air from the top of the engine bay that is warm. it just wont get any warmer is all. not worth the time imo.
