Tim, go with the SPEC Stage 3 clutch from Howell. I will be getting one soon also. My friend just put one on his boost Neon and it works EXCELLENT! I am going to sell my Clutch Masters Stage 3 and get a SPEC.

:P

I got a PT Cruiser clutch which, although I'm sure doesn't clamp as much as any SPEC or CM or ACT, does clamp tighter than the stocker and ran me about $175. Modular clutch slid right off the output shaft in the tranny and the new one just slid right on. Easiest part of the rebuild imo.

Me = cheap. emoji

check ebay periodically. You'll find some good clutch deals. I struck gold when I got my LuK clutch for 60 bus ^_^ slightly used but still good. Its a OEM quality though. You can find LuK and Sach's clutches on ebay, I also so a non-modular performance kit... but I'd watch out for those, non-modular conversions have been known to be unrealiable. If you want the best clutch masters is the way to go but it'll leave you broke.

You can buy them direct from SPEC for $439, does yours come with anything else? Maybe an aluminum flywheel?

modular is all in one piece, Clutch, flywheel etc. Its riveted together.
Non modular is When you can just replace the clutch and re-surface the flywheel.This bolts together.
