I just recently took off my SAFC and sold it. after i took it off, the CEL went off for the first time since ive had the SAFC( it used to throw the infamous "61" code). it stayed off for about 3 days, and today it came back on. its throwing codes 14, 24, and 61. the first do with the MAP sensor and TP sensor not agreeing. i took of the MAP and missing link and cleaned em off good, but the CEL is still on. is there anyway to check the MAP or TPS to see if they are bad or not? thanks guys. 1999 Black C5 1997 Silver RS Wiseco 8.8:1 Pistons(back to low compression!) when you took off the AFC my guess is that somehow you messed up putting all the wires back. its possible you hooked them back up wrong, or they are grounding out or something. same thing happened to me with a loose wire that was touching the body and grouning, check the wires where the AFC spliced in. other than that, you can check the voltage for the Map sensor.
14- pressure sensor circuit malfunction
edit: to test the TPS: with the ignition OFF take off the TPS, its a 3 prong plug. with 1 being power and 3 being ground. there is a little bump on top of the plug that connects it to the harness, this is the top. so looks like this (1)(2)(3). check it with an ohmmeter, it should be between 3.5 and 6.5 kilo-ohms. attach an ohmmeter to 2 and 3 now, open throttle valve slowly. the resistance should change smoothly, if resistance doesnt change smoothly, the sensor needs to be replaced
