ok tonight i was tuning my boost controller and decided to let my car cool down for a few mins. so i pop the hood etc.. then i look at my timing belt/cam gears in the little window while the car is idling and it looked like the timing belt was not 'center' it was closer the the engine. i turn off the car and on the cam gear its about 3in gap from the passengers side to the timing belt on the stock cam gears, is this normal? also for some time now i notice my datlogger shows timing advance at idle around 0-5 degrees after long hard pulls or for a long time driving.. not sure if its related. what do you all think ? i will try to get some pixs of it up if i can.

Well cam timing (t-belt\cam gears) and ignition timing (ECU controlled spark time) are two different things. I think your belt should be fine, check to see if it is rubbing the cover.
