Hey I busted a piston. Im only going to be running a 100 shot tops. I dont want to go over that and I wont with this car.

So I would like to find some stock compression pistons that are nicer like Je's or wiesco. Any other reccomendations?

TIA!

most dont carry them in our stock 9:1 compression, but they can be custom ordered. Only down side is , if you should ever break one...you have to buy 4 all over again.

Back to subject:

With the stock bottom end rebuild kit. It looks like something I would want but they use TOPLINE replacement piston. I have never even heard of them. Any advice? Should I use 10.5 je's or 8.6. Im runnin n20 not tubro. The hp loss with the 8:6 is only like 5hp right? Would it be better to do that? Again im shooting for a motor that can take like a 150shot but only planning on running 100. Thanks for you help!

you meant to say 9.6:1 right? anyway I think you'd have to get them custom made if you want that compression but I don't see that as a big deal, piston makers usually do custom work. you tell them the bore, type of engine, stroke (I think) and compression you want it in and bam o you got some pistons.

Topline makes oem replacement engine parts I believe. I ordered some near bearings for my bottomend when i rebuilt and they sent me topline bearings. So its oem quality stuff, nothing wrong with oem. if one oem piston is busted just replace it then. But take the engine apart first and see teh extent of damage the piston had on the rest of the engine.
