Ok, i have all my work pritty much done on the car.. not it's time to tune it all up. I have an MSD ignition timing moduel that advances the timing with the turbo pressure, but i still don't have any kinda of boost controller, or fuel pressure managment system.
Should i go with seperate systems like S-AFC, and the AFC-R? Or should i go with one systme that controlls the timing, fuel, and boost, all in one?
I was looking at the DSM board, and came across an article on the PCU, from efi systems, which apparently alot of eclipse owners have used and liked. Give me some feedback on what you guys think?

I believe the part you are refering to wil only work on the 4g63 powered DSMs.
As far as i know, the only options we have are certain piggy back systems (AFC, DFI) and certain stand alone systems (Haltech).
The DFI is good, as it's a piggy back fuel computer with much more capability than an SAFC. It's also pretty damn expensive. it's what i'd recommend.
The haltech is extremely cool becuase it allows you to tune anything and everything, from ignition timing to fuel maps. It is a complete, fully programable replacement for stock ECU. it is also incredibly expensive and difficult to install.
Also.. you want to RETARD timing under boost. If you advance it, you're going to knock. period.

i understand that i need to retard my timing when under boost, i've got a seperate moduel thatz gonna retard it anywhere from 1-10 deg.
What is the difference between our computer and the 4G63 engine, other than the info, are there different sensors.. etc.? What experience do all of you have with these seperate units?

They're two totally different units, with different sensor inputs and different ways of reacting to them. There is absolutely no way a computer for a 4g6 will work for the 420A.
