Does anyone see a problem with using Crower springs with Crane 14 turbo grind cams? These springs were used with Crower Stage2 cams.Basically what is the difference(spring rate)between the crane and crower valve springs? I know in the V8 world that spring rate is very different between cam packages, just now sure if there is a difference with ours.

You'll be goodto go, those springs cam handle the big stage 3 cams from Crower, so no need to worry about the lift on the Crane 14's.15.9 @ 86.7mphhttp://www.exileracing.comMods List:http://highlander.dsmpower.com/sig.htm
Crower's website says the springs need to be machined to fit. Is this true?I assume the Crane springs just fit into place like the stock ones.Another spring question. I assume the Neon DOHC 2.0L Crane valve spring is what we use. I could not find a mitsu 420A reference on Crane's website.
No machining needed for Crowers. The website for Crower is not updated for springs, or even specs on their cams.Yes use Neon Springs for Crane15.9 @ 86.7mphhttp://www.exileracing.comMods List:http://highlander.dsmpower.com/sig.htm
