#61700, "Loud Gunshots out of Exhaust"

hey guys, Its been doing this for about a month now and i freak out the people driving behind me all the time. Every time i get on it just for a couple of psi(8-9) when i start to break after that, there is a loud POP and i mean loud pop coming out of my exhaust along with a huge spark flame. When i hit higher boost @15psi its even louder than that. This only happens when im breaking after gettin on it, ive gotten on it and just let the car slow down by itself and nothing. So i dont know how this relates to my breaks. Any advise would help thanks. -joe

Sounds like back-firing to me. Does it also do it when you downshift from higher speeds?

Joe!

Choad. WTF? You never hang out anymore. You wouldn't have half the problems with your car as you do if you'd come around and let ME play with it!

So do this!

Usually, backfire out the exhuast means you are running too rich. You are basically getting unburnt fuel in your exhasut, and its igniting. Find your cause of your excess unburnt fuel..

Hey back firing is cool too! It's like having a misfiring system, but then again, it's not a rally car is it? Initial D, watch that anime, you'll love it.

When is the money spending going to stop on this fucking car?!
