Hey guys, I have a question. I have a 98 RS with a 2.0 and about 65K. I think my head gasket is going (Brown shit in the radiator overflow and oil loss) Would a compression test tell me for sure? If so what would the normal numbers be? Any help would be great, thanks.

check your oil for coolant. that is a better test than looking in your coolant. Comp #'s idealy should be above 170ish, healthy is 190's-200's. lower is still okay, but its s sign that things are getting not good!
