anyone know if you need a harmonic dampner for an afx crank pulley

You need the harmonic dampner puller tool from Autozone (free rental + deposit) to get the OEM off, but other than that, I'm not sure what you mean. We pulled my old pully off and rammed the AFX right on.

You need a 3 jaw *5* ton puller to remove the stock pulley. To take off the AF-X pulley you need to use a harmonic dampener puller.
