2-3 hours? i had mine in the oven until it heated to 500* then took it out !!!!!!!!! i just took it and ran outside as fast as possible, slammed it onto the end of the crank, made sure it was on straight and took a rubber hammer and beat on it until it didn't move. I don't recommend this as dino once said it wouldn't be good on your crank and other things taking direct pounding. but i got it on a half inch or so, then took a torch, toasted that thing till i was bored, making sure not to fry my timing belt and then beat it a little more. then i put the crank bolt in, and if it doesn't thread in a few turns, then you need to beat more. cuz if you just try to thread it like that you'll strip out threads. i did this and the first outside threads came right off !!! so make sure you get a few threads to pull with. crank that mother fugger on using all your strength unless you got a impact wrench. i was seriously spent afterwards! a cheater bar would help. just turn that thing until it is so tight it spins the crank even when someone is pushing ont he brakes. just make sure it lines up with your ps and ac. and your good. tighten those belts down really good. mine squeaked once when the wheels were completely turned. never heard them again first try. woohoo! i love it. I can go up the hill to my school 500 rpms faster easily. probably more. never really tried, but it does have a nice kick to it! just odn't expect turbo style gains. Having Problems?
