I have a 1995 Eclipse, 2.0 DOHC NT and I'm trying to find a computer upgrade. Does anyone know if I can use a Mopar Performance computer or if not, does anyone have any suggestions on a good unit to replace stock unit?

I have a '95. It has a stand alone computer. When I was on the phone with Gary Howell of Howell automotive yesterday discussing this very topic, he told me he can do nothing with a '95 computer. So, I've never heard of this computer you're mentioning, but I feel sure Gary would have told me about it. Gary also said that he has heard that you can use a Mopar performance computer, but he has not verification. This is what I'm trying to find out. Thanks for your input and the search button can be your friend.

you said nothing of the year of your car, the af/x computer is for the 97 mtx only and has worked on limited other years. As for the 95 they are not producing a computer for that year as the codes are not compatible. Their is alot of feedback on several other computers across the board such as the AEM.

you can use a mopar performance computer made for a Neon if you have the 5 speeds tranny it's not a direct replacement you will have to do some rewiring of the connectors
and I think you will loose your ac, cruise control and some gauges I remember that 2 years ago someone tried it on his Avenger with the 2.0L
