So I replaced my plugs and wires a few weeks ago with the ones in the link below because I was getting bad misfires....just losing a lot of power. Well, a couple weeks later (now), I'm getting the same error and worse...like it's skipping a cylinder or something....I mean the car will jerk bad when it skips. Same ECU code. Did I install the plugs wrong??? '96 Talon ESi.

My car was backfiring about 2 years ago...turned out I had a leaking head gasket and had oil on my 1st spark plug. I don't know if this helps...

lol, well i don't have backfires....that's good at least. Possible I screwed the plugs in to tight? could it have something to do with the coil?

yeah check your coil. find out which cylinder its been misfiring in and check the condition of that plug again. If your plugs and wires are fine then its def. the coil.

The prorer gap is mucho important. make sure you are gapped properly.
