#59712, "Hydraulic tensioner no longer available from dealership?" Sep-19-03 11:12 AM by Squid
I just got off the phone with a local dealership and Fenton Dodge and they both told me the timing belt hydraulic tensioner is no longer available as an individual part. They both told me it was superseded by a kit of some sort. The local dealership claimed the kit included the timing belt, hydraulic tensioner, tensioner pulley assembly, and idler pulley for a mere $380. Fenton wasn’t sure what was included but it was $260.
Anybody know anything about this.
Is there any other place to get the hydraulic tensioner?

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
