Has anyone from Texas ever had any experience from Thunderbolt Engines in Houston? I might get a new one form them soon. And wondered if they were any good. There website is http://www.tbolt.net/index.html

might wanna make sure they are 1 expirenced with race style motors

and 2 able to build a competant motor, by being able to line bore, deck bore and hone witha torque plate and such...

LMAO! honing with a tq plate means taking a big fuggin drill and honing the cylinder walls with a tq plate. a tq plate is a support that makes it so your honing isn't crooked.... right guys??????!!!

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

Well, they are the cheapest option I can afford. So I'm considering it from them.

Maybe if you buy your own motor and make sure it's assembled correctly before you bring it to them.. they strike me more as a place that would hunt boneyards for a motor to put in your car than a place that will actually build you a motor.

I dunno, there's something about late night cable advertising that just rubs me wrong. In that same vein, i wouldn't buy furniture from Father Amco, either.

HAHA, its just the place is very reputable. They have been around along time and my dad even remebers them from when he was a kid as a good engine building shop. They remanufacture the engines. So if it was from a junkyard, atleast I know it would be rebuilt. They also test there engines before they give it to you, so I figure any problems I would have would be at a minimul.
